Senior Pre-school Program

We designed our Pre-school Program to encourage your child to develop socially and emotionally, improve gross and fine motor abilities, and learn cognitive concepts. This prepares them both for Kindergarten and for life as they grow older.

We carefully plan stimulating activities appropriate to each child’s level of development and interests.

And alongsideĀ planned indoor activities, children have lots of opportunity to play outdoors in our wonderful fenced in playground space. We also go on daily walks around the neighborhood and frequent the parks in our area regularly.

Some of the Things Your Pre-schooler Will Learn

  • Fine motor skills: how to properly hold crayons and scissors, which enhances your child’s emerging writing skills.
  • Social skills: through play, how to share, cooperate, resolve conflicts and act independently.
  • Love of literacy: through age appropriate books and monthly trips to the Carlingwood Public Library for structured story time
  • Appreciation for music: through our monthly music program

March Break & Summer Programming

During the March Break and summer months, we have special recreational programming that includes outings, a week of swimming lessons at Dovercourt and lots of planned special activities.
